Recipe for orange slices in chocolate

Recipe for orange slices in chocolate:

Ingredients:

2-3 oranges
200 g dark chocolate (preferably with a cocoa content of more than 70%)
2 tablespoons cocoa butter or coconut oil
Optional: orange peel for decoration (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare the oranges:

Wash the oranges with warm water, then dry them. Cut the oranges into thin slices. If there are any bones left, remove them.

Arrange the slices:

Arrange the orange slices on baking paper or plastic wrap so that they do not stick to the surface. Put them in the freezer for 30-60 minutes to freeze them.

Melt the chocolate:

Melt the dark chocolate in a water bath or microwave. Add cocoa butter or coconut oil and mix thoroughly to get a smooth mass.

Dip the orange slices:

Remove the frozen orange slices from the freezer. Dip each slice into the chocolate, make sure it is completely covered, and remove excess chocolate by blowing a little air.

Dry it:

Place the dipped orange slices on baking paper. If desired, sprinkle orange zest over the chocolate coating for added flavor and decoration.

Cooling:

Put the orange slices in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours or in the freezer for 30-60 minutes to freeze the chocolate.

Ready! Now you have orange slices in chocolate, a great combination of the freshness of an orange and the richness of dark chocolate. Enjoy this delicious dessert!
