Banana muffins with nuts

Ingredients:

2-3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup butter (sunflower or vegetable)
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup yogurt or kefir
Additional nuts for decoration (optional)

Instructions:

Turn the oven on 180 degrees. Prepare cupcake molds lined with baking paper.

In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until they are mashed.

Add butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well.

In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, stirring as you add.

Add the chopped walnuts and yogurt (or kefir). Mix thoroughly to make a homogeneous dough.

Pour the dough into the muffin molds, filling them 2/3 full.

If you wish, decorate the top of the cupcakes with additional walnuts.

Bake the cupcakes in a preheated oven for about 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Check the readiness of the cupcakes by inserting a wooden skewer into the center — it should come out clean or with a small amount of wet crumbs.

After baking, remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the molds, then transfer to the grill to cool completely.
